The next question was : how can we create jobs?
We searched for a good and healthy business proposal and did choose for coffee. Why? Because we discovered that great coffee can be grown in Nepal and the population in the villages can earn their living with growing coffee. The climate and altitudes are ideal for growing delicious coffee and because hardly any coffee is grown there is an enormous growth potential and many people can still be helped to work.



Charge Nepal enables new farmers to grow coffee where Charge Nepal pays a very good price for the farmers' coffee cherries. Charge Nepal gives farmers the resources they need to grow good quality coffee. With the coffee the farmers can earn a good income and a better future. The coffee is exported and sold in the Netherlands under the name 80days coffee.

80days has no profit motive, but wants to do business in a healthy way. Any surpluses are invested in the coffee project in Nepal. At this moment we work together with 250 farmers on 4 locations. Our staff has 8 members of which 6 Nepali and 2 Dutch team members. Furthermore several volunteers from Nepal and the Netherlands are involved in our work.
